Applicants must be nominated by economics departments and must begin their first year of doctoral studies in economics in autumn 2026 or spring 2027.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"364\" data-end=\"627\">Grants for <strong data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"420\">second-year doctoral studies in economics<\/strong> are also available for applicants who received a Yrj\u00f6 Jahnsson Foundation grant for their first year of studies in the May 2025 application round.
