Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation has two grant application periods in 2026.
May
Every May, applications are accepted for grants for first- and second-year doctoral studies in economics. Only the applicants appointed by their University’s Department of Economics are eligible to apply for a grant.
The next May Application period is 4.-15.5.2026. The application period ends at 4 pm on the last day of the Application period.
September
Every September, applications are accepted for grants for research in economics, medicine and health economics.
The next September application period is 1.-30.9.2026. The application period ends at 4 pm on the last day of the application period.
